Data handling

How is code and data uploaded for an assessment handled?

  • Code and files uploaded for an estate assessment are used only to produce that assessment.
  • They are deleted 30 days after the readout unless an engagement follows.
  • Novuz software runs in your own cloud account or data center. It needs no outbound connections.
  • Your code is not used to train models, ours or anyone else’s.
  • Analytics on this website covers pages viewed, approximate location and browser type only.

Certifications

Do you hold SOC 2 or ISO certification?

Not today. SOC 2 Type I is planned. For a security review we provide the architecture document, the data flow diagram, the Docker and virtual machine deployment guide, the list of outbound connections, and completed answers to standard security questionnaires. Ask for the security pack and we send it within one business day.

Subprocessors

Who processes data on your behalf?

The providers we use to run this website and our business cover website hosting, analytics, email delivery and customer-relationship software. We share information with them only to provide those services to us, under agreements that limit their use. Ask us for the current list and we send it with the security pack.

Report a concern

How do I report a security issue or ask a question?

Email info@novuz.com with the details. We acknowledge security reports within one business day and tell you who is handling it. For privacy requests, such as seeing, correcting or deleting your information, the same address reaches the person responsible.
