It is a Databricks validated technology partner and runs in production at a Fortune 500 natural gas utility and an AI-powered supply chain planning software company.
What we do
What does Novuz do, and who is it for?
Novuz is software for data teams that have to move a legacy data warehouse to the cloud without losing the logic inside it. It reads stored procedures, ETL packages, views and scheduled jobs, then converts them into modern pipelines on Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Apache Iceberg or Delta Lake. The output is code you can read and run. About 95% of objects convert by fixed, versioned rules, so the same input gives the same output on every run. The remaining edge cases go to a Novuz engineer, who resolves them and records what was decided.
It is for the people who carry that work today: data platform leads, data engineering managers and chief data officers at mid-size and large enterprises, plus the systems integrators who deliver migrations for them. Customers include a Fortune 500 natural gas utility, an AI-powered supply chain planning company and a legal intelligence platform.
Novuz Inc. was founded in 2017 and is based in Danville, California. It is built by a small team of data platform engineers and researchers, led by co-founders Debjani Dhar and Ted Ghose, and advised by technology and AI research leaders from Expedia Group, Gartner and HFS. The software runs inside your own environment, so your code and data never leave it.

Why was Novuz founded?
Data migration is solved. Logic migration is not. Data teams spend years rewriting logic they already have, and then nobody can prove the new version matches. Generative AI made conversion fast and made the proof problem worse: the output changes from run to run. We built Novuz so the same code in gives the same code out, and every converted object comes with evidence.

Combines delivery leadership and business development with deep knowledge of machine learning, data warehousing and cloud architecture. Before Novuz, she led $10M+ modernization programs at Accenture as a delivery executive. Holds an engineering degree.
Ted Ghose
Co-founder & CTO · Previously Cisco, Contrail
Former Principal Engineer at Cisco and early team member at Contrail Systems. Holds 15+ patents spanning networking, energy management and embedded systems. Graduate of IIT Kharagpur.

Chief Revenue Officer · Previously Gartner, Docugami
Technology go-to-market and business transformation leader who has advised high-tech executives on AI strategy and market positioning. Former Senior Director Analyst at Gartner and Head of Sales at Docugami. Founder of VISIBLD, an AI search agency.
